• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Watching a new episode of Gold Rush and noticed the Government employee from the Alaska Geological Survey was wearing a familiar hat.

I noticed that while watching that episode!!

I just saw a commercial for "Spyder" tools yesterday. Like regular tools, not JUST for a Spyder. Are they branching out??

In Canada that's a Toque!

Quoted from Wikipedia

In Canada, toque, or tuque (

/ˈtk/), is the common name for a knitted winter hat, or beanie. The Canadian English term was assimilated from Canadian French tuque. Toque first appeared in writing around 1870.[SUP][1][/SUP][SUP][2][/SUP][SUP][3][/SUP]

The fashion is said to have originated with the coureurs de bois, French and Métis fur traders, who kept their woollen nightcaps on for warmth during cold winter days. Such hats are known in other English-speaking countries by a variety of names, including beanie (American), watch cap or stocking cap; the terms tuque and toque are unique to Canada and northern areas of the United States, close to the Canadian border.

It was... Only the spelling has been changed to protect the "tokers" :roflblack:
