NO Canyon Demo's at Daytona Bike Week - VERY Disappointed In BRP!

Here I am in Daytona Beach Bike Week. The motorcycle mecca of the USA. BRP has a larger than usual presence, two different spots across from each other. WHAT? NO Canyon's for demo rides? I asked the young lady why? Sorry, not enough Canyons made. But, you can sit on one. She then said, "keep your eye out for the 'Demo Tour' going across the country. One might come near you." I shook my head, and walked away.

I'm sorry to hear that, Tango. But I guess we have to bear in mind they just started building them first week of February. If you happen to go back to the Can-Am tent ask them for the particulars on this "Demo Tour going across the Country". Google didn't come up with a thing. Hope you're have a good time at Bike Week regardless.

Sarah I will go back again. I was just so disappointed. If they started building them 2-5, That's three weeks to build a stock pile. Put two in the demo fleet. The "Demo Tour" is the same one they have been doing for some time now. They visit dealers willing to host them across the country. I believe three teams of demos. Met one guy who said, they give you a pick up truck, trailer, bikes. And a schedule and pay all your expenses. They came near me five years ago. About an hour away. Keep your ears open. I will also. LOL

Last year, before we bought our Spyder, I went by their spot. I also was surprised they did not have any Demo bikes. A young fellow said the same thing about their Demo tours. A couple of weeks later, a dealer in Jacksonville had one, so we went there.

I remember a local dealership having a Can Am Demo Day back when COVID was going on and bikes, cars, etc. were in short supply. They had one RT and 2 Rykers on demo, but no new F3 series. I say no new F3 series because they did have one F3T for them to demo - It was the 2016 F3T that I had sold to the dealership the week before. It was in excellent condition and looked and rode like new. But to pass it off and have potential customers test riding it as a new one was funny to me. I stood there and talked to one guy waiting on a test ride and whispered to him that "he could probably get a good deal on that one, but make sure they put a new rear tire on it and an oil change". He asked how I knew it would need a tire and oil change, considering it was a demo bike? That's when I told him it was a 2016 and I was riding it 7 days prior to it being there. I had sold it to them for $13,500 and they sold it a week after the demo day for $16,995. I think this was in Spring 2021.
