• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

riding down the Interstate about 11 PM and this SUV pulls up along my left side and matches my speed. I look over expecting to see someone checking out the Spyder. Just as I do, the idiot driver takes a picture of me with a flash camera.

Thanks, buddy. I'm sure that big white spot in my vision will work great at night while traveling at 70 MPH.

Sometimes it hard being a Rock Star.:yikes:

And yeah, give them a profile picture next time...

:agree:I've had the same thing happen - thankfully not at night. I realize people think the Spyder is cool , but that whole thing of hanging on the left side to take pictures is not fun at all!:yikes: It gets a little un-nerving especially in heavier traffic and going 55+.

I haven't had that happen at night yet, and hope I never do. It is scary enough when they do it during the daylight hours. :yikes:

My Missus and I had a kid on a KLR650 pass us and start taking shots over his shoulder with his digital camera... We were just hoping that at least a few of them came out okay, and that he didn't crash while pulling such a bonehead manuever!

Hubby laughs at me because most times that we are on the highway We create a traffic jam. We would be traveling at our normal speed, about 5 to 10 over the speed limit, and traffic would be backed up behind us because people are oggling our bikes. He rides a Victory CC and I ride the spyder. We get the people taking pictures, pointing, trying to ask questions while they are alongside. We just ignore them and keep on with our ride.

Had the same situation but at my Church's parking lot and not going 70 mph. This guy took pics for his son and I told him I was going to charge him per session.:doorag: Yep... is that how a rockstar feels??:joke:

Interestingly I saw an e mail on this a few months back warning people about this happening. nojoke I ran it through a few sites and it was verified as true. It's one of those things where the perp deliberetly tries to blind the other driver using high powered flash or strobe or one of those mega candle power flash lights. Something to think about when you're out and about at night.

If that is true, there are some really sick puppies out there.:wrong:
