Hey everyone...
Wanted to send a note about a charity ride BRP is supporting involving wounded veterans.
It is called Project Road Warrior... http://www.projectroadwarrior.org/
BRP has donated several Spyders for the cause, which will see veterans ride from Seattle to Tampa Bay from June 5 to 14.
The route with stops is located here: http://www.projectroadwarrior.org/#!projects/c1yws
It is a great cause, and it is something I am excited to see it happen.
Just thought I would send the details so you could share it as I am sure there would be interest to hook up and ride with the participants at some of the stops -- in fact, that is encouraged. There is also a donation page if people want to support it.
This is the first year for the event, and I do hope it is not the last.
Here is what I ask, however... if any individuals or groups plan on riding a section, they must get in contact with Craig -- he is one of the main organizers. His e-mail is: [email protected].
The reason being is they need to know if they will need traffic control along the route if a ton of people are going to show up that day. I would like to know as well, but it is essential that Craig is notified.
So, feel free to spread the word. It is a great cause and I am proud that BRP is supporting it.
