• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Pulse and Origin fire sale...

So, I received an email offer saying up to $4K in savings on the Origin and Pulse.

I guess they're not selling well or would you consider this normal as the riding season is nearing sunset for a lot of folks?

I haven't done any research, but my guess is that the range and charge time isn't sitting well with folks (amongst other things like general EV pushback). So, they don't want to cough up that type of cash to ride ~70 miles. Yeah, I know the range is a bit longer, but I don't think most people would push the envelope unless they're trailering or towing them.

I believe if the range was at least 200 miles per 80% - 100% charge it would more likely be accepted easier.

After years of build up, it seems they may have fallen flat.

Thoughts?

The one person I know who owns an electric motorcycle (Victory) hasn't ridden it in the 3 years I've known him. When he rides 2 wheels, he's running gasoline!

If you're into this type of thing it may be a good time to dip your toe in the water. I believe it's a wave of the future, whether we like it or not. Remember bag phones, and cell phones back in the day? Now look at us, we have full blown computers in our pocket and can't keep them out of your hands!! I've got friends that wouldn't ride a Spyder if their life depended on it, and I tell them not to knock it till you try it! Good luck. Have fun!!
