• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

questions about the 2020 RTL

Well, I pulled the trigger today... signed the paperwork to add a 2020 RTL to the family. I presently have a 2014 RT Limited (seems husb has taken it over) & a 2020 Can Am Ryker 600 (son rides that one)!

I choose the Petrol Blue RT Limited today, it's still in a crate & has to be assembled, so I couldn't bring it home today. Dealer is adding a trailer hitch, passenger arm rests, & a driver's back rest to it before I can bring her home. I do have some questions for anyone with any knowledge of the farkles available for it, which may save me a lot of looking...

I am wanting

  1. a cup holder that will hold a 30 oz Yeti style cup (I have one on my 2014 RTL, sold by Baker Built Airwings, but I don't know if it will fit on the 2020's)
  2. does anyone know if there is a cat delete for the 2020? (I have on the 2014 & it made a world of difference)
  3. a good iPhone mount that I can charge my cell at same time & see to use navigation on it
  4. I have a flag holder on the 2014, but now the rear trunk is completely different. Does anyone have a flag mount setup already?

I have already ordered the fender running lights both amber & red (I can't believe they still use reflectors & stickers on a high dollar bike); and saddle bag LED lights to replace the reflectors.

Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

Thx

Ensure that when the dealer installs the passenger arm rests there are no gaps in the rear panels. There was this recall early on when BRP rushed to get the 2020 RTL onto the show room floor and the the rear panels were zip tied. Mine was one of the early models, I had dealer installed passenger arm rests, and now I can't get the recall rear panel gap done because the arm rest and the recall fix is not compatible. BRP, I'm told, is aware and working on a fix.
