• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Changing out the rear Arachnid for a car tire in a 205/55R15 size. Kept 30 psi in the Arachnid. What is the prevailing thoughts on tire pressure for an auto tire in the rear? The fronts are Federal Formoza AZ01 that I keep at 18psi.

Auto tires are much stronger than that Arachnid ( or a Kenda ) ….. most folks like 17 to 18 psi in the rear. …. it will give you the best traction & comfort at those psi's …… Mike :ohyea:

One other question Mike. What is the recommended drive belt tension. I understand that other then the factory setting is recommended.

Based on past mechanical issues ( due to the OEM higher drive belt tensions - which caused bearing failures ) when I bought my new 14 RT, I immed. lowered the belt tension ( using a Kricket gauge ) to 160 lbs. ON THE GROUND …. it's different if the rear tire is off the ground ….. I discovered this also, all but cured the belt vibes …. why do I do it OFF the ground …. because it's way EASIER, and the setting I use equals what it is with the rear tire raised ….. ( just a simple time/work saver ) ….. Be warned most dealers will change your setting to BRP specs - wether you like ie or not :gaah: :roflblack::roflblack: ….. Mike :ohyea:
