• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rear Tire Size Changed - Fault Code Problems

While talking to my dealer's Service Manager, he told me of a Spyder they'd had for about a month and couldn't figure out why it kept throwing about 8 different codes and then go into 'Limp Home' mode. This would happen within about 10 minutes after clearing the fault codes. He said that they had checked & rechecked everything and could find anything wrong.

He was talking to a BRP rep today and was told what to look for: rear tire change.

It turns out that the owner had changed the rear tire to a larger size tire, which threw the rear wheel out of synch with the sensors and the computers.

May be something to consider when deciding on a new tire.
