• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rear Turn Signal Bulb??

Has anyone had the rear signal bulb burn out yet? If so did your dealer have the replacement which does not seem available on line?
(I know there is an alternative LED system available!)
Wondering if the stock bulb is lasting forever?:dontknow:

Hello Sarge707, I replaced my rear turn signals with LED's but I did have a tail light bulb burn out. You should be able to pick up a replacement at your local auto parts store. They usually come two in a pack so I would just replace them both at the same time.

I can,t remember anyone finding them in a Auto Parts store like a typical 1157 or 194 bulb? One nipple is at 12 O,Clock while the other is at 7 O,Clock instead of the normal 6 O,Clock!!:yikes:

Just get one with the same base style...Like a 5008.

I bought a package of 7.5 watters and they work just ducky. I was unable to cross reference it to something else.

I would stay below 10 watts. 7.5 watts is plenty bright and not too hot.

EDIT>>> Oops... what I said is for the tail light/plate light, not the turn signals.

Had to replace a license plate light, crazy to have to remove so much just to replace a bulb :chill:. Forget getting one from the dealer... too pricyyy when the local auto parts store has three for the same price as the dealer wants for one. :shemademe_smilie::spyder:

Bulb for license plate is one screw to remove the casing to get to the bulb.
