• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Roadside Assistance Program Recommendation?

x-winger

I'm looking for insurance for our soon to be Spyder RTS SE5 and matching trailer. A primary requirement is a company with a good roadside assistance program. A must have is a single 800 number to call regardless of location when in need of assistance. I would appreciate comments on companies with a reliable assistance program and also comments on programs to avoid.

Thanks,
Ed

Roadside assistance

AAA~ RV coverage only because of the needing a flatbed trailer because of the size and platform of the :spyder2:
Enjoy the new spyder and most of all have fun!:yes::yes:

I have been researching this for 2 days and AAA/RV will provide the flat bed for 4 100 mile tows (Per Year) for $121 in CT BUT I,m reading a LOT of negative reviews on line about their latest service ethic,s??
Tried the Allstate towing but they only give you $100-$150 credit on each tow AND EVERYONE I talked to sounded like they were in Pakistan or the Phillipines???
Will Most likely do the AAA Because I can also help someone in need. Doesn,t have to be my vehicle!!!nojoke

INSURANCE

Contact Foremost Ins., and see what they are offering.....I know their rates are very competitive....Mike....

Teddy & I have AAA RV+ & just used it yesterday with Awesome results

We usually travel with the Spyder 30,000+ miles a year & wanted something easy, nationwide & covers anything we'd need for the Spyder & camper. My buddy called just yesterday, "Dave, locked my keys in the car in my garage, any ideas?" We discussed McGyver a bit, then I said the easiest would be if I just came over & called AAA & he agreed. 20 minutes after I got to his place, AAA had his doors unlocked & the keys in my hand:thumbup: no charge, besides all the questions about Teds Red Sled:doorag:

Just informed by AAA agent that they DO NOT tow 3 wheeled motorcycles (Trikes) in CT although they still cover 2 wheel motorcycles. My Foremost Insurance agent turned me onto AMA for a backup insurance- (He knows Insurance and uses them for his cycle!)
They will tow your car, Motorcycle-Trike (Flatbed) or trailer (Boat-Jetski) up to 35 Miles for free and do the other things like Tire , Gas.
$49 a year and you Help the American Motorcyclist Cause!
