• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. I will be leaving Cortland NY with another Marine. We will leave sat a 3pm and staying at the Super 8 in Dumfries VA. We are meeting other bikers at the East Coast Harley Davidson Dealer in Dumfries VA sunday morning and riding with them to the Pentagon.

I saw them rolling through Jackson mississippi on I 20 yesterday evening. Saw several spyder's in the group. Probably up to 400-500 bikes. It was a beautiful thing!

leaving Sat

I will be heading to DC on Saturday from Binghamton NY however hoping to leave earlier than the guys from Courtland , I know it is a good Five hour ride in a cage , Drove from fort Belvior Va home lots of times in the sixties, hope to catch up to some riders on the way.

Do you just go to the Pentagon or meet with other Bikers and then go. My Friend and I will be going to the East Coast Harley Dealer in Dumfries and r
ide up with all the other bikes that show up there?

It's your choice

ECH is a good way to ride in or you can go on your own. This year I will be leaving from the WAWA on 610 at 0700 because I want to get there early. Park and jump on metro to ride into DC or Pentagon City to eat and take pictures to help burn time. I will be taking pictures of all the Spyders/Riders I find.

I believe East Coast Harley rally begins @ 0600 and departs @ 0800.... This year, there is a rally point meet up @ the Marine Museum. They also will start @ 0600 with kick stands up @ 0745. Supposingly, they will also be selling breakfast prior to departure.... Not sure which rally point wife and I will ryde... Expecting them both to have escort down HOV since their departure times are fairly close and they aren't that far from each other... :)

You might want to consider joining the "Band Of Brothers USMC Motorcylce Riding Club" who will be meeting at the National Marine Corp Museum, which is just South of Dumfries.
See link: http://www.bandofbrothersusmc.org/

This a new event. I have done the Dumfries event in the past which is very well done.

Thanks for the information on The Marine Museum rally. The bandofbrothersusmc looks like just a Virginia Club. The Marine that is going with me is going look and see what area will we form at. As he has another guy that will meet up with us. He's a Lt Col a Army chaplain

2013 rolling Thunder was a great time this year around 900 k bikes. There were lots of spyders. I saw one from Canada there. I join the bandofbrothersusmc at the Marine Museum. around 250 bikes left from there. It was a good rally of bikes from all over.
