• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RT-622 Trailer Lighting

I am planning to install an LED light strip as a third brake like on my RT-622 trailer. There are three wires coming into the taillight assembly, 1 Orange, 1 White, and 1 Black. Does anyone out there know which color wire controls the brake lights, and which color is the neutral. If possible, I would rather not strip all three to find out which is which. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

At the rear harness the following should be the code (standard Spyder color code).

Orange = running lights
White = brake lights
Black = ground

The colors may vary from harness to harness on the trailer and coming out of the taillight assembly itself, as well as on the old 9-pin harnesses, including the Spyder pigtail prior to 2013.
