• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RTL Handlebar Risers

I am interested in getting handlebar risers for my '15 RTL and it was suggested that I look at the RSI brand which is sold on Dennis Kirk's site. Has anyone used either these or the ROX brand on their RTLs? If you have and are happy with them, I would appreciate the model number and any tips on installation that you can provide. Thank you in advance.

How about a link to them? I'd like to see what you're talking about. Thanks.

last winter I installed a set of RSI 5" risers on my RT-S. had to extend the wiring, which wasn't really a problem. also had to install a longer hydraulic line for the clutch as I have an SM5. used a 50" braided line from Dennis Kirk. depends on the "look" you're comfortable with. these work fine. but if you want a stock oem look then the tri axis bars from BRP is what you'll want. I took my risers off this past summer and no longer have them but will be getting a different size before the weather breaks. I had about $125 or so in my install.

RISERS FOR RT - ST

The only way to have adjustable handlebars is to get Tri-Axis handlebars as we don’t have normal handlebars.
This info is not correct ----- " Quasi " & I believe " Warlock " used them to on their Spyders ...... Mike

The " ROX " brand / style will work on an F-3 because the attachment system on the F-3 is compatible ......... I told you about the " RSI " brand because that is the type you will need for your style handlebars ......... I think 3in. size will give you what you want without having to extend cables etc. ..... With this MOD the " RSI " type of Riser will rotate 180 degree's either completely up or completely down .... lots of choices ...... Mike

If I remember correctly you had posted Pics of your set-up ..... maybe you could re-post or give a Link to that Thread .... then the poster could see what they look like

oh my, NOW I get it. So basically super effective and super hideous all at the same time.
Hey, I chose comfort over style every time...except in some extreme cases...

Hideous huh? I admit it don't belong on the Victoria Secret runway! but hideous.:roflblack:

Will the ROX or RSI (or similar) also work on a (2016) ST-S?
And are either of these or others designed to raise the bars UP versus BACK towards the ryder? Or both?
I could use the BACK but not necessarily the UP.

I have been thinking about getting the Rox Risers as opposed to the short reach bars for my F3. They come in size 2, 3, 4” - and I am unsure which size to get. My objective is to have the bars closer so I can take advantage of the backrest most of the ride time. I’m looking for input from the knowledgeable owners here before making the purchase.

Been there done that ( with the RSI type ) .... I made a dummy test model .... I used a 2" wide piece of thin plywood ...drilled a hole large enough to fit over the grip ... screwed a short piece of broom handle on the to simulate the new grip ....and figured out what length/height the riser needed to be........ remember on a 3" riser you can rotate it towards you or away from you and change your position quite a bit with little movement of the angle .......
