Out riding (bumpy) dirt roads the other day, my wife’s Ryker had a windshield collapse. The bracket that holds that and the instrument panel is a crappy casting that mounts with 1 bolt that is right on the seam of the casting. We almost made it back to pavement when the windshield started wobbling violently side to side. Pulled over and saw the casting had split. We took the windshield off to get home. I’ve made a temporary bracket until I have time to weld a copy of the casting in steel.
