• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I bought some new panels and want to install them myself. What is the tool used in this video?

The tool used to remove the plastic rivets at 18 seconds?

It's called a trim removal tool.

The one shown was metal, but they also come in plastic versions.
Just Google: trim removal tool

Yes, at 18 sec

I see there are a variety of sizes. Do you know which one would work best?

I have a set of the plastic ones, and several of them are the correct "size" to fit the plastic pins.

Google found a set online that has four plastic tools, and one metal one like the video.
It was $5.99 for the complete set.

I checked several of the local auto parts stores, and all of them carry sets of trim removal tools, but the prices are all over the place.

The best price near me was from Napa.
Their price for the set of plastic tools I have is $6.
They have two different metal tools, one for $8 and one $3.

And they have a "set" that includes one of the metal tools, plus a plastic box with an assortment of 240 replacement pins (20 different varieties) for $20.

There appear to be a bunch of Napa stores in the Chicago area, so I'd go visit one and talk to them.
