• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Satin Silver Paint

I was just wondering how the satin (Platinum Silver?) paint is holding up on the 2014 RT Limiteds. I'm kind of on the fence and if there are any problems with it I'll just go with a glossy paint finish in one of the other colors.

When the 2014's first rolled out, I was kind of interested in the satin silver with the burgundy seat combination. Since I already have a magnesium :spyder2:, I went the yellow direction instead.

I have not heard of any issues with the satin silver, other than it requires special cleaning methods. I say if you like it, go for it.

We have several folks locally that own that color plus our dealer has an actively used demo and loaner of that color. with lots of use I have seen no problems

No problem..!!

matte, flat finishes have been around for some time. Maintenance differs but they are as good and durable as any paint...

It's a good paint. Doesn't show much dirt and care is simply wash it and you're done. I've put about 11,000 mikes on one and I'm happy with it. You don't see a lot of them around here.
