• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Scala Cardo G9X set up

Can someone help set up a Scala G9x headset system? My wife rides on back of my 2011 Can-Am RT and when we converse it sounds like an echo chamber. I also can't seem to get the Radio to work for her set either. Anyone familiar with this system?

I have the Scala 9 system --- not sure what the difference is other than yours is a newer system. Not sure I can advise about the echo chamber effect other than you might try unscrewing the cradle cover and make sure that the microphone jack is fully seated. I don't have that issue with ours. Have you done the software updates and set up pre-set radio stations? Once you've got that set up, you should be able to press the radio button and get the radio.

That said... if you're both connected to each other, that overrides other functions from what I've seen. I've been fine listening to either the radio or connecting to my iPod via bluetooth when I'm alone, but once my husband and I connect I haven't been able to get music to work even with a hard-wired plug. I've been emailing back and forth with customer service about bluetooth music sharing for a couple of weeks and only once have I ever heard music on both sets and that was only while I was trying to get it to work with 2 helmets next to me at the computer. In all our "real world about to ride" trials, I've never gotten it to work so we forgo the music while we're together. When I'm by myself, it works well.
