• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Schrader valve

I was loosing air in my rear suspension after i bypassed the 2nd bad compressor....its leaking from the schrader valve...here is my question...is the valve stem the same as a tire valve? Can i remove the insert & replace it with any valve stem? I know it seems like a dumb question i just wanna know for sure. Thanks in advance

Guess this applies to all Schrader valves------ put a cap on it!!! Un capped valves will get grit and grime in them, when you air up a tire or our air system, that junk may get into the valve seat causing a slow leak. The under seat area is truly filthy. I stuffed soft foam into all the holes under the seat----- it's MUCH cleaner now even after thousands of miles.
Or as stated--- just a little snug on the valve itself.

I did just that! It is the same thread & valve seat, so while just loosening the valve insert a tad to blow any trapped debris clear before tightening it down snuggly again will probably fix your leak, if it's any worse than that, then any Schrader style valve replacement should work fine!
