There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I bought a Scorpio 900 security system, after reading about it on this site. After 3 months:
1. The perimeter sensor works, and i've had a ball with it. Stopping at busy places and watching the expression of peoples faces when they get too close is a blast. it will keep them off the Spyder. too sensitive to keep on most times though. my wife does NOT like it in the garage.
2. really like the ignition lock. makes me feel much safer using Lamont's IPS.
3. The only negative so far is...me. The small controller that the system recognizes is rechargeable and lasts about a week on a charge. If you forget (not that i would, and certainly not twice) you just aren't goin' riding. the system will let you know, and i gave the same reaction as i described in #1
