Selling my new Ultimate seat, heres why....

I bought the Ultimate seat new back in November but never bothered to tell the wife. She knew I was wanting a different seat for the Spyder and went out and bought one as a surprise! I got home from work today and there was a new BRP comfort seat there in the box.... uh, ok?? So not wanting to hurt her feelings I told her thanks that was exactly what I was wanting to get, you see where this is going. So I'm going to sell the Ultimate seat and never say a word. Going to list it in the for sale section if anybody is looking for one.

This is the "tallboy" cut solid black colors and no backrest but does have the place for it. Listed in the for sale section.

If you significantly like the Ultimate over the Comfort, why not sell the Comfort??? Just don't tell her as you did when you initially purchased the Ultimate. OR Take the bull by the horns and tell her what you are doing. Your comfort riding far exceeds the potential "hurt feelings". Your intentions are honorable, but not logical. (Sorry, but I just had to say it like I think it is).

I would tell her too, but mount each seat and have her decide which seat she likes sitting on. I suspect she will like the Ultimate seat as it improves both positions. The oem comfort seat just gives more room to the primary rider; the passenger section just gets shorter. If you are lucky, she will realize the Ultimate seat is best for both riders.
