• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Service Alternatives to Can-Am Dealerships in Albuquerque or Santa Fe New Mexico?

Questions

New member
Does anyone know of independent motorcycle shops in Albuquerque or Santa Fe New Mexico that work on Can-Am Spyders? I have not owned my new-to-me 2008 Spyder long, but I am already sick and tired of doing business with the dealerships.

Thanks,

Ace Café Rat

Good luck with finding any independent (anywhere) that will work on a spyder, other than maybe brakes.

:agree: Unfortunately, the :ani29: is quite different from a standard motorcycle.

There are full service manuals that can be purchased off the internet. A BUDS computer program is also used on the computer heavy :spyder2:.

Non experienced people messing with :ani29: has caused many problems. Even some dealers have screwed them up.

If you are mechanically inclined--some self help can save you a lot of money. If you need it done by someone else, a dealer with a good reputation is your best bet.

The :spyder2: is nothing like a Honda 360.

It's sort of like having your Tesla S serviced at the local Firestone tune up store.... it ain't happenin', baby!!

The Spyders are so specialized, your everyday mechanic or service tech wouldn't have a clue and perhaps would make matter worse if they were to attempt service and/or repairs.
