• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Shimmy in front steering under heavy acceleration - any ideas on cause/fixes?

Hi everybody, the newbie’s back. One of the things I find incredible about this Ryker is how it accelerates from 40 miles an hour. I mean, that is so cool how the CVT works. I DIDN’T THINK I’D LIKE IT, but it’s a kick in the shorts. I'm having a hard time getting me back on my brand new RT Limited.

Now to the meat and potatoes - I have noticed that heavy full throttle acceleration seems to illicit a wiggle in the front steering, like it’s overly lightened or something. Only happens under hard throttle. Any ideas guys and gals? Thanks in advance for your help.

If it's on your Ryker and you have the good shock package, I would try to put a little more preload on the back shock go a turn, turn and a half and see if that helps if it seems like it is, keep going till it gets to where you like it, just a little at a time! How are the front tires wearing, maybe a alignment is in your future.

Thanks, Mikey! I actually had wondered if there was some way to possibly put more pressure on the front while accelerating. Preload sounds good. Will try that on the ride in this morning.
