• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Smoky Mountain Spyder Rally in 3 Days and no Spyder to ride. Took my Spyder in on Tuesday 9/30/2014. It's the same old parts problems. Tech got the part last Tuesday 10/14/2014 and it didn't work, bad part. They were on the phone with BRP and BRP said that they were sending one and that was Wednesday 10/15/2014. Now It's Monday 10/20/2014 and no part. You would think BRP would have sent it second day delivery, again very poor customer service by BRP. That's IMHO.

Questions to be asked

Where were they shipped from? Not necessarily the closest, but the real shipping warehouse.
What day were the part(s) in a truck? Not just picked.

I posted recently that as in some other areas, BRP has a system which is rather unique.

I could repost from a couple of years ago, but too many got too upset! I would also make note that too many owners have unrealistic expectations (not referring to the OP here) based on how much they paid for their ride. At least that is my opinion of "I should get better service because I paid $***** for my Spyder".

Also, there has been posts stating the poster(s) were not buying a Spyder based on reports of poor service found on this board. This seems contrary to the best interests of us.

Oh well, too much of a rant. If anyone is offended, please accept my apology.

As long as you speak the truth it's not a rant, it's feedback and information that users of the product need and tells BRP of what's really going on with there service. They got the part in late today. I hope they put this part in and it works. Will update this thread when I get my Spyder back.

Update! BRP must of read my thread. My Service Advisor Kevin Smith at Performance Power Sports in Seneca, SC. really did a great job for me. When BRP was having the tech. Joshua Phillips doing testing on the first replacement part from BRP. Kevin stopped the testing and told BRP to send a new part ASAP. They received the new late yesterday, Kevin called me this morning, everything new part was working and I went to get it and drove it home, and it ran great. I'm HAPPY! HAPPY! HAPPY! After I come back from the Rally I'm going to have Performance Power Sports in Seneca, SC. do the front tire rotation and a Laser Alignment. Give a update after Rally and the Laser alignment.
