• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sometimes Yes, sometimes "NO" Reverse

I found a thread way back in the forum. The 2011RT reverse actuator intermitantly working. Sunday we were out and had no reverse, we did ride 40 miles in the driving rain:D after a couple tries it worked. Yesturday it happened again. When she got home I took the controls loose on the bar and made sure there was nothing inside obstructing the button..aka dust,cobweb!{9500 mi. in 5 mo}.! put it all back together and worked fine on several tries sitting still and test driving. This morning worked fine. Wife calls and says it won't back up, so she pushed it back, in the parking spot:roflblack:. My question is one in need of opinions...

Has anyone thought of using a manual cable to initiate the reverse, such as the RS.

See your dealer. This needs some complex and thorough troubleshooting...and maybe some new componenets.

Recall

Finally got ahold of the dealer. They say there's a recall on the Reverse Button. I asked if they would go ahead and order the part and I would come down and have them fix it. They need the RT there to verify it isn't going into reverse and do a diagnostic on it. I told them that I would need to have it back since it is the wifes daily rider for work and how long would it take. {They need it all day} I told them I would pull all the Tupperware off and make it accessible since I'm working with accessories. I was told the unit needs to be complete when they get it.. I reminded them it wasn't complete the last time I got it back. Missing push-pins...

"It's working

Got ready to head out to the shop, and everthing is just fine. Now I wonder if it is a Temp issue causing the problem... Either way I'll be taking it in..
