i love the pictures posted on the forum and in a few i have seen where people have a spring on the front trunk lid of their bikes, can someone give me a link where i can pick one up because i really like the idea of it thanks

This works on my GS. Don't know the RT setup.

Home depot, auto zone, pep boys, ace hardware..etc..!! Just take the measurements..good luck..!! :thumbup:

Just get a #155. ACE is the easiest place to find.

The RT's setup is different... I seem to recall somebody working it out; it may have been a spring down by the hinge... :dontknow:

If you wish, you can buy the OEM springs at your dealer. They will retrofit.
