• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder RTS Premier edition iPod Nano

I did not think to ask this question before I bought it but I am getting a Premier edition iPod Nano and now I am wondering if it will work without being plugged into the RTS which I don't have, to tell you the truth I probable will not use it anyway as I have 5 other i-pod's 2 ipad's and a iphone 3GS which is used just for my Sonos music system but I thought it might be a cool thing to collect as it has the Spyder name and logo printed on the back.

It is just like any other Nano, except that it has a special marking on the back, and some preloaded propoganda pictures and videos. Also, you may have to play around loading it, since it is registered to a different person than your iTunes. The newer versions of iTunes may have addressed this problem.

It is not registered but I know when I connect it to my iTunes it will want to erase all that is on it from BRP so why did they put the stuff on it in the first place. Not sure if I will use it or just add it to the many many Spyder stuff I have been collecting, I don't have a RT just thought it would be cool to have it.

There are websites that sell programs that will extract anything off of your ipod or iphone and store it on your computer so you can place it into your itunes. Alot of them allow free trials of this program. Just google it. You can even bring your friends ipod over and copy his music and transfer it to yours this way, why pay .99 per song when we can share?

Eh, just format it and start over...who cares what's on it...extra stuff means less ABBA songs you can add...and what's more important, BRP 'propaganda', as Scotty puts it, or ABBA...

I'd go with ABBA! :ohyea:

Sorry, I gravitate toward Peter, Paul & Mary, the Lovin' Spoonful, or Chuck Berry, myself. :D BTW, I was able to keep the propoganda...but I had to load through the back door, and set iTunes not to sync...which it cannot do anyway since my library is larger than the Nano memory.
