Spyder Sightings

Saturday the 16 around 9:30 am I spotted a yellow rs with matching saddle bags headed north on rt 22 in New Lebanon NY...

Today, Friday, July 22nd, approximately 1:00pm; saw an RV pulling a trailer with what looked like a white rt and an orange rs, headed south on Rt. 13 a mile north of Greenwood, Delaware. I was headed the other way.:sour: Anyone from :spyder2:lovers?

Today at 1:30 I saw a black RT going east on I96 in Grand Rapids. It was pouring cats and dogs but I spotted his bright blue rain gear no problem. I was in the car and it was hard to see with all the rain and spray. I hope you made it safely to your destination.

Costa Rica

Yesterday, 7/21, saw a phanthom spyder in Coco Beach, Costa Rica. It appeared it was being used as a taxi.

Saw one

I was sitting in my brother-in-law's driveway waiting to go to Mid-Ohio for Vintage Motorcycle Days when a Spyder with a very good looking female driver went past. I jumped on mine and took off after her. I finally caught her at Hametown Rd. and SR#18 in Bath, Ohio. We chatted a bit and she said that she had just gotten her Spyder. I never did get her name but maybe we'll see her on SpyderLovers soon. I hope so:bowdown::yes:

About 9;45 this A.M> saw copper colored RS near Mission Country Club in Howey in the hills, Fla. Riding with 4 two wheelers. Are you on this site? I was the black RT riding with the HD.

Friday (the 22nd) around mid day passed a northbound rs, silver on the Blue Ridge Parkway, (northern section) looked like wacky Dan?? from Asheville to Gettysburg and back we saw four spyders, one rt the other three rs. Paula is now an experienced spyder pilot. great trip right at 1400 miles. so many people interested in spyders, we passed out the info cards to many prospective spyder owners.

Saw a White RT pulling a black trailer 20 miles West of Evenston WY. I was on I-80 Westbound on a black RS with a big windshield and bag on the back seat.

Gave a big over exagerated wave....

In Thompson CT at the Farmers Cow exhibition, I met a husband and wife.
The wife was riding a white RS. We chatted a while, especially about this website. She was aware of the site but didn't frequent it.
Maybe that's more common than I thought. It certainly explains why most of these Spyder Sightings go without a response. I know if someone posted that they saw me, I'd chime in and say hello back.

Went to "Too Broke for Sturgis" this past weekend in Mormon Lake AZ. (Event shut down because a jealous sob shot his girlfriend and others, then his self.) A black RT was turned away on Saturday. Saw a silver RS in Show Low on the way home Sunday. Then on Monday between Belen and Socorro NM on I-25 I passed a black RT w/ 2up and a 622 that was headed north.

That indeed was me... You didn't happen to find a Spyder license plate light cover on the Blue Ridge? I lost it somewhere between Blowing Rock and the Rt 18 detour. :shocked:

How did you know it was me? Was it my ugly mug, my hydroplaning style, or the yellow moto-lights?

July 29, Dixie Hwy in Monroe, MI!!! I was on my ryde, an suv in front of me, and a bright all yellow Spyder in front of the suv!! Loud muffler and took off like a shot when the light turned green!!! So....naturally I had to follow suit.... :roflblack: It was at Stewart Rd. Anyone resemble that ryder???????

On a nine day return trip from southern Ontario to the eastern provinces, counted twenty four Spyders on the road. :thumbup:
More RT than RS.

Also eight Harley and Honda trikes.

Black RS, southbound on 148th Ave in Redmond, WA on Monday (today) at 12:15 PM. Actually the first Sypder I've seen on the road, besides my own! Would it be crazycanuck? I know he lives in Bellevue, nearby...
