• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Red Spyder at UAB in B'ham

Hello, Just saw a Red RS parked in my parking deck at work (UAB, B'ham AL). Nice looking bike. Left a note to say hello from a fellow Spyder Ryder.

Sunday Sept 11 in the Douseman, Monches, Hartland area of Wisconsin.

Saw three different lone Spyders out for a Sunday ryde. A Red RT with two enthusiastically waving ryders, a fellow on a yellow RS and I think the other was a gal on a blue RT but the memory is fading.
I bet they were surprised when the saw a string of 14 Spyders fly by!
Our Wisconsin-Illinois riding group had a beautiful ride through the Kettle Moraine. :trike:

Saw 2 Spyders on my trip. Saw a Red RS with flame job while eating in Little Switzerland, NC. Met the couple on our way out. Can't for the life of me remember the username (they are members here). I have a terrible name memory. Nice meeting you guys!!!! Didn't see another in VA, WV, PA, NY, OH, KY, or TN until I was on the way home and saw a black RT with a single rider around Franklin, NC or very north GA (bad memory). It was raining alot so not alot of bikes out until the way home from TN.

The red RS with flames was Nick and Vicky. LTTOWNBLUE.

Blue RT - Excelsior Springs, MO

I saw a blue RT in Excelsior Springs, MO at the Old Mill Restaurant on Saturday, September 10th.

At 1830 on IH10W, mm 542, heading west (Boerne, TX). 2011 RT Ltd. Both riders had white suits, trimed in black, white helmets....looked SHARP. My temp gauge in my pickup read 95.

:spyder2:

Saw a Silver/Black RSS on St.Andrews Blvd. in Charleston,SC yesterday going west as I was going east around 5:15p.Wonder if he lives here in WA or was just passing though:dontknow:

Another Phantom!!!

Just saw another Phantom RS - pulled into a neighbors garage!

I had nothing to do with it - I swear!

Have you seen someone unfamiliar riding a Spyder ? Maybe you were out riding, or you saw one drive by while you were standing on a corner ? Describe the Spyder and where it was. Who knows, maybe you'll make a new friend. I'll start:

Can you believe it? Just returned today. From Denver to Branson and back and never saw a single Spyder. 1800 miles and not one. Saw lots of trikes, Goldwings and Harleys and even a VW. Trip was good though in spite of a cold and wet ride home. It's all good.

That was how it was for me for most of the first year that I owned mine. Now in the last month I have seen at least 10 in various places both near and far from my home. I would bet that in the next year or two there will be so many on the road that most of us will see at least one a week during the season.

I had a good laugh last week when my sister in Charlotte (NOT a rider) called to report she'd seen TWO :spyder2::spyder2: Spyders near her house...even the non-riders are looking out for us and reporting them! ;)

That could have been Ron (a new owner ) and I or a couple I know who have two that live up near the track.
