• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

As I understand, there are now only two RTs, the RT and the RT Ltd. No more RT SE6, RTS, or RT manual, whatever that designation was. Too much confusion here. Not looking at the F3 Touring, fine looking machine, but bars are too much reach for me for comfort.

There are RT, RT-S, and RT LTD.

The RT is a base line RT. The RT-S has more bells and whistles. Cruise, Radio, Auto air suspension, driving lights and plastic chrome decorations. The LTD comes with some actual chrome, pieces and a garman navigation system. SE6 refers to Semi Auto 6 speed transmission. Not sure if they still make the SM 6 (manual transmission).

I did not look up from the web site. I believe most of the above is correct. You can correct any errors.

RT Limited no longer comes with the Garmin Navigation since the new dash blue tooth connects to your cell phone, that is now your navigation. You can still get the Garmin but it is a healthy price tag, and they are still using the old version Zumo 590 and not the 595

For MY 2019 there is the Spyder RT and the Spyder RT Limited. They both come with the SE, semiautomatic, transmission. The Spyder RT comes in only one color, Pearl White, while the RT-Limited comes in eight different color combinations, has some real chrome and some other options.

Just an FYI, the Spyder F3-S is the only model that has the option of the SE6 or SM5. The F3-S Special Series only comes with an SE6. All Spyder RT's have the SE6 as the only transmission. This applies to all 2019 Spyders.

Utah, just trying to clarify, got some good answers here, that was the point. For instance, I did not know there were three different bars for the F3, and some other enlightening responses. Sorry if I was not specific enough, I thought it was a reasonable post, maybe not.

Bill it all depends on what year you are looking at getting I guess. But the Rt can have the Triaxis bars added or find a good used on all loaded up and saves you a ton of cash.

If you’re thinking about an RT you should consider the Tri Axis handlebars. They are great but expensive, if you can negotiate them into your purchase you might save money, especially if the Spyder is still in a crate.
