The day started off with a little rain in the morning but now too bad. We headed from the hotel to Cowtown about 8:30 and there was a pretty good group of folks when we got there already. One of the first events was the raising of the flags. I think you know these guys from the board. :2thumbs:
Early registration started today and about mid day we had over 120 signed up. Not sure what the end count was.
These guys were trying to figure out if this was a seat cover or a really big baked potato.
The shop at Cowtown was packed with Spyders getting service work done.
Around 11:00 or so it started to rain and it didn't stop till after dinner. As you can see my Corbin seat holds the water pretty good. :sour:
We rode in a group to the VIP dinner and much to our surprise we
got to see this custom Spyder up close and personal. It was very nicely done. Loved the paint and the 360 tire.
They had a really nice meal for us all ready to go and I didn't eat any lunch so i was ready to eat.
I'm not sure how many folks they fed but it was a bunch.
They even had these cool BRP cupcakes.
The dessert table was a big hit too.
The local winery had a display too.
Lots of happy SpyderLovers despite the weather.
After our meal Len from Cowtown had the folks come up that had anything to do with putting this event on.
This is the working crew that really help make this all come together. This guys and gals did and are doing a great job.
This is Lens mom and dad. They were very supportive of this event and had some nice words to say about our group.
These are a few of the reps from BRP. Three of them rode their Spyders to the event in this bad weather. It was great to have them here with us.
These are the vendors that are here so far, there will be more in the morning.
I got to tell you this was an event in itself. We had a great turnout and it's only going to get better from here. The weather is going to be great for the next couple of days for sure and Sat. doesn't look too bad.
Once again you can see all the pics and videos I load here.
