• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

t torx size

"T-30 fits most of the Spyder screws. Some have a few T-20 screws. 6 mm hex for the drain plugs and 7 mm for the handlebars. There may be others you will need, but these are the ones to keep handy."

On my ST there is a pair of panels that are fastened with 3 screws each T30, T20 and a blind 6 mm hex. That gave me the strong urge to find the design engineer and educate him or her on bad design. The feeling past before I could get into trouble.:joke:

REPLACEMENTS

You can get replacements or just extra's fairly in-expensively at Home Depot .....they sell them singly or in pairs.........Just sayin,...Mike  :yes::yes::yes:...As far as I know the only other Torx is a #40 and that is for the mirrors on the GS/RS/RSS

lowes sells a neat set the case doubles as a T handel for the torx and hex and they come together in like a 19 piece set for about $20 that will not take much room in the spyder frunk or other bag compartments.

About 40 years ago I lived in Pittsburgh, which has a significant Polish population with all the attendant Polish jokes at that time. I decided to buy a small bicycle for my 4 yr old son. I found one that looked pretty good and had real bearings, not nylon bushings, in the pedal crank. I noticed the label said "Made in Poland" but thought, "I'm not going to let Polish jokes and comments keep me from buying what looks like a real decent bike. I get it home and start to assemble it. There were 10 places to use a wrench, and 7 different sizes! :banghead:
