• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anyone tried the Tachyon Bikercam? Looks like a viable competitor to the GoPro but I only stumbled on them on the net and haven't heard anything about them...

I hadn't heard of Tachyon Bikercam either.
I've been thinking of getting a GoPro Hero 3+ but at half the price the Tachyon Bikercam might be something to look at.
Thanks for the post!

Thanks.. I just heard about the Garmin one. Need to look into that one too. Basically I want a good one but at less cost that the GoPro. If the quality isn't there, I may still end up with the GoPro though. They do seem to be the "Apple" of the action camera.

i got the drift hd720 and i like it a lot,i got it after lamont gave it a good review.there some places you can find them for about 89 doallers.ask lamont he has used one a lot moore than me.but i like it.:chat: try ebay.

Here is a short video taken at night with the VIRB Elite at our last Christmas Parade. Camera is mounted on the dash behind the windshield of my Spyder

I've tried a couple cheapies. Do yourself a flavor. Just buy a GoPro or Contour. I use a GoPro stationary, Contour HD helmet mounted and a Kodak for hand held shots.
