Everyone was constantly coming up to me and taking pictures of the spyder while were traveling. I think some "hurt" feeling among my parents and hubby for the oversight of their bikes. Oh well. I certainly stand out, which is great, since everyone else's bike is either maroon or black. It makes people look twice before they pull out, plus they are trying to figure out what it is. I got all kinds of looks and tons of questions. Many are quite surprised that this may be a bike either for them or their family or friends that they can ride. I couldn't tell them enough about how great this bike is. My mouth hurts from smiling all the way to Georgia and back. It was a fantastic trip. Although we did have a little problem with my Dad's shifter on his Ultra decided to break. Hubby fixed it enough in the field to get us to the dealer. They fit him in and immediately went to work on it. The dealer mechanics were awesome getting my Dad back on the road. He was so upset that his bike broke down and he wanted us all to go ahead and continue on. No way. We stayed until he was fixed and just stayed an extra day in Blairsville.
We all had a great time and would recommend staying at the Seasons Inn in Blairsville. It's right in the town square at the traffic circle. They have some amazing roads right around there to ride.
Just an FYI
