The Mrs. and I are headed south June 28th for a few day road trip and staying in Mt. Airy (Mayberry) NC. While this may sound inconsequential to some, my job is such that any days off are far and few between....my only time off I had in the last 2 years was one week last summer and a long planned Spyder trip was cancelled due to both our DPS units failing withing a week of each other right before we left. This year, the Spyder Gods are apparently smiling on us as preparations are going smooth. Carols orbital Blue RTS continues to pile on miles with ZERO issues . At 500 miles this week my RTS developed a cracked header pipe and a laundry list (3 repair orders worth)of small things that could have set us back for the trip as a bunch of parts needed to be ordered.
Without any prompting , my dealer handed over the keys to another Black RTS and took mine back. No questions asked. A quick call to switch my insurance and I'm now driving a new RTS. Yeah , thats customer service. :chat:
So to say we are pumped is the understatement of the year. The Spyders are ready , the trailer is getting packed and its almost time to go!!! :2thumbs:
