• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The Piggybacker is finally on the road

Finally figured out the wiring and got the trailer out for a test run today. Tag on the BRP cable said 2 of the wires were right flasher and left flasher (Canadian for not turn signal evidently). Once I remembered that brakes and turn signals occupy the same wires I have all the required lights got the cable done up so it looks nice and is hopefully water tight. Empty the Piggybacker is light and bounces a lot, however with 60 pounds of lead it comes along rather smoothly. Got it out on some city streets and on a nearby bypass with a 50 mph limit and it tracks right along nice and smooth. The changed shift points take a little getting use to in the trailer modes but nothing serious.

I'd recommend the product to anyone looking for an inexpensive trailer. The kit went together easily and after I finally decoded the cable the hook up went well. Will need to load it and see what the gas mileage does.

Ride safe,

Left to right Rear view of the 2 of them hooked up, interior of pod, cooler basket and spare.

So far I'm pleased with the way the trailer pulls and the quality of the trailer and the company.
