There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. The Spyder 'dialed in'

I'm not sure if it's just the RS style. The RT just seems to have a bit too much "stuff" on it (higher center of gravity?) to do this. But taking tight curves in the road just to the point before the nanny kicks in...that's the Spyder 'dialed in.' Total control while executing a perfect turn. just doesn't get much better than that. But it takes a lot of concentration, I'll admit that. Exhausting after a few of those in a row. Could be the adrenaline.

I've been really experimenting with riding positions and there clearly is a sweet spot where it just latched onto the road like it's on velcro and rips through the turns. Smooth as silk. Man, wouldn't be awesome to take these machines on a test track?

Just had to get that off my chest. :D

Are you still running the stock set up in the front? My understanding is it gets even better if you add the Evo Sway Bar, which is another future purchase on my mods list.

Glad to hear you are having a great time getting more familiar with, and pushing, your Spyder.

Yup. Evo sway bar eh? :b2b:

Got me thinking....:D

Throw an Elka rear shock on there and the front shocks from the RT while you're at it :2thumbs:

If you think your spyder turns good now, you will be jumping with joy after anti sway bar. :D

Evo Sway Bar

Saw someone's comment and had to add my 2 cents worth. Fairly new rider/owner. Bought my '09 SE5 in March. It was slightly used... 1450 miles. As of last weekend 3200+ miles and counting. The EVO Sway Bar is HUGE! Major difference in handling.

Mods so far... trunk liner, tank bag, Cal Sci Windshield, Can Am Upgrade Seat, Fog Lights, CAn Am Upgrade Grips, Billet Inserts, Grip Puppies, Yoshimura Exhaust & Evo Sway Bar "Stiff Setting".:doorag::2thumbs::spyder2:

Sway bar was the best performance mod to date ,besides the Hindle.

At the :spyder2: owners event at Dayton this spring BRP rented the track and we got to drive on the track . Sound good but we couldn't go up on the banks or really open it up .But it sounds great when you tell people you drove Daytona Speedway .

Some of us weren't really listening when they said to stay off the banks, and thought all the vehicles parked there were just wanting to watch the show. My spyder did not appreciate being nearly on its side in the center of a turn at low speed. :opps:
