• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

There is nothing like the sound of a Merlin!

Where is this???????

I Know that desert!!!! Reno Air races of course. Every year. Lots and Lots of cool WW11 fighter planes racing a closed course at high speed. It's very cool. Can be dangerous too. There have been crashes. Had one plane hit the grandstands:yikes: about 6 years ago.

We went to the EAA show in Oshkosh. Saw the only two B-29's still flying and 14 B-25's in the air show. It was 75th. anniversary of Jimmy Doolittle raid on Japan. Many T-28's, T-34's, and AT-6's. Two A-10's and one F-35 Freedom Fighter. Impressive.

Thanks for that....👏

they were amazing aircraft motors...:2thumbs: Though I do love the sound of the F4U Corsair Pratt and Whitney 2,000 HP double wasp radial engine...

The P-51 Mustang is an amazing aircraft. I purchased a ride in this one out of the Ramona, CA airport several years back. The pilot is going through his pre-flight check sequence. That's my dad with the white hat in the back.
