• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This is Thought Provoking...

Thought provoking--Yes!

We cannot undo many of the things which were bad in the past. The idea for me is to do as much as possible that is better in the days that will follow.:yes: Some things are in our control, and some not. We need to focus on those things that we are in control of.

Excellent!!!!!

I have tried to live with no regrets, tried to take every opportunity that that came my way. Be it a learning experience or an adventure. Didn't catch them all but you can't turn back time, just move forward.

Like AKSpyderMan said, "Some things are in our control, and some not. We need to focus on those things that are in control of." That is so true! Life's a poker game and you have to work with the hand you're dealt.

Now if I came back to life as a 24 year old with what I know now...... :2thumbs:

Are there things that I regret?
Of course!
Would I change them?
Probably not. nojoke
For two reasons:
None of them are so horrible, that they need erasing.
And...
We are the sum total of our life experiences. The bad times often teach us the most important lessons. I would not want to become a different person, by not learning about defeat.

Oh so true. A accident when I was 13 , stupid mistake, changed my life completely. Yes I live with pain, but what I've learned to overcome, and learned about myself during this journey is something I wouldn't change for the unknown.

Who knows what I would have become, or if I'd be alive...:dontknow:

And what if I didn't like venison and smoked deviled eggs..:yikes:

I am what I am today because of or in spite of my past and I am pretty happy with who/what I am. There is only one thing I have regrets about, there was a woman I loved that I would have tried harder to hang onto, but that too is part of who I am today.

I read this somewhere the other day and I tend to agree with it, "We don't really get smarter with age, we just start running out of stupid s**t to do."
