• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Tilting Trikes body kit for Ryker

Got some nice lines to it. That said, you can get a LOT of saddlebags for three grand ...

* Checked out their website, and they're currently in pre-order. Body kit is due out mid May?

PS - their tilting suspension looks ... intriguing. Still in prototype, but I imagine that will end up a bit complicated (and dangerous) for the average backyard wrench. Not to mention really really expensive.

Tilting is the next step in the evolution of the reverse trike- kudos to the pioneers. Hopefully BRP is paying attention.

It appears to be either a love or hate relationship. Was wondering about the price. $2,595 seems a bit pricey for me. It does have a tilting suspension though.

A nice add on for the Ryker. Who is going to be the first site "beta tester?" And....what happened to the $8,799 Ryker? The upgrade will take care of that quick. :roflblack:

You like tilting, get one of these ...

Flying the car on a Ural will certainly put color in your cheeks ... and your shorts the first few times ... ;-}

I wanted to but 1) they are quite expensive 2) they have a reputation for being horribly unreliable

From what I read on their website the $ 2595.00 ... #1.- does not include shipping .... and #2.- isn't the tilting model ..... they have yet to un-vail that ..... they say soon tho .... Mike :thumbup:

Mine was a basket case when I got it, but made a nice winter project. The bad rep is more of a hangover from when the Soviet Union went away - they've slowly improved over time. Mine's been mechanically bulletproof so far - just routine maintenance. That said, I just use it for bopping around the state and wouldn't want to try it for the long haul.

That thing is sweet... If you ever do take it out of state to the one just south, let me know i would love to see it.

I'm guessing the body kit was developed primarily to cover up the workings of the tilting suspension. What's strange is that the body stays parallel with the ground yet the wheels and seat, and handlebars all lean. On a 2 wheeler, leaning is speed dependent so it makes me wonder if somehow the lean angle is strictly turn angle dependent or if speed is factored in as well.
Maybe it's still a prototype but the fit/finish of the body along with the folded over carpet interior doesn't seem like super quality. I've never had an aftermarket fairing so maybe that's acceptable?
