• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I woudn't pay that much. There is a tire pressure gauge provided with the spyder tool kit. I check tire pressure every other week or depending on how many miles I put on.

What the heck do you need this for? I have a round pressure gauge (8.00) and a tire pump...I check the pressure every month or two...don't have problems unless the bike sits through seasons...

You can get a great, portable, pump for about 50.00...

$200.00 for whatever that thing does is not necessary...just check and pump, when needed...

I agree . . .

Interesting and useful, but unnecessary.

Two things though, the stem sensors may be too big to fit on the rear wheel with out hitting the belt sprocket. And am I the only person to think that the stem should be on the right side of the rear wheel - it is a real pain to take and adjust the pressure of the rear wheel.

Nope, I feel the same way. It was brought up to the engineers at the 2008 Spyder Homecoming (by Roaddog maybe?) and they basically blew off the question as I recall. I guess they don't think its a problem where it is.

Regarding the sensor, if I had a spare $225, I'd try it.
