Tomtom Rider 2nd Edition GPS

As this looks to be a more reasonably priced unit I was wondering if there are any opinions on this out there?

:bdh:Had one for about 4 weeks and it crapped out, I now have a zumo 660 and it works great.

I had one too, and I bought it because it was much less expensive than the zumo. BIG MISTAKE. Even with a special sun shade it washes out completely in the sunlight. It's total crap IMO. When we bought the RT we bit the bullet and paid for the zumo.

By the way....TomTom does not make it anymore. I'm not surprised one bit

you can buy a good used 550 on E-bay for less than the Tom-Tom, and still have a better unit.

Used the Garimn 780 on my spyder. did 25000 + miles in all kind of weather and never had a problem with it. :2thumbs:
