• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I too spent 34 yrs. in the fire dept, and now that I am retired I have less time now then I did when I was working. I often wonder how I managed when I was working. But Life is Good. especially on a spyder.
 
This post was semi-Tongue in Cheek (though 100% serious about my lack of time to ride). But actually, you have given some pretty good advise here. Spyderlovers... the best place to go for advice on any subject! Probably due to the great amount of experience and wisdom contained in all these active minds!

Maybe I'll go with my first plan: Be found dead at my desk in a puddle of drool over somebody's file... :roflblack:
 
That looks like my plan too. Only the file will be changed. My folder will probably have accounting numbers in it that I don't like. :roflblack:
