• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I just saw that there were tornados in Garland Texas. I have seen fellow Spyderlovers from there. Is everyone down there ok? Prayers for all those people affecte.

I'm in Rowlett, Texas. One hit almost in my backyard, but no major damage to our home. From what I can see looks like just blown down fence. Praying for all those that suffered loss during this tragic event!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am in Forney, just south of Rockwall where one hit. Luckily we are in AZ for the holidays.

I live in Greenville, we just had lots of rain. 4.75 so far on my rain gauge. I am a local contractor if anyone needs help.

When has there ever been a storm that had MANY F4 and below tornadoes, Flooding, Ice, Snow and blizzard in the same storm? Temps in the 80's to freezing within a short time? They named the storm Goliath. It is a monster.

I'm in Garland, but fortunately my home was not in the path of the tornadoes. Eight people killed in Garland, mainly when one of the twisters hit the freeway and tossed cars around. Three killed and dozens injured a bit northeast of us in Rowlett. The last I heard, this storm produced nine tornadoes, but most of the damage was done by two of them - one of them was HUGE!

CBS News reports a total of 43 Dead and 1,450 homes destroyed by "Goliath" so far...............

Here is the best video I have seen on the tornado as it was unfolding on the Weather Channel.
