• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Bought the BRP tow hitch kit for my 2012 RT. need to change the tow ball from a 17/8 inch to a 50mm the European standard. I cannot undo the bolt that screws up into the ball with a28mm socket and a 24inch breaker bar. I am applying enormous force and it will just not move. Any ideas what I could be missing
thanks

Go to the local gym, take the 28mm socket, the 24 inch breaker bar, and bet (or pay) the biggest guy there that they can't break it loose. There will do it one way or the other :ohyea:

Or go to your local pub with your 28mm socket, 24 inch breaker bar and wager who is man enough to break it loose.

Righty tighty, lefty - loosey. :roflblack:

If it was installed with red loctite, it may take heat to break loose. Try a piece of pipe on the breaker bar first. Be warned that you could break the bar or the socket with the cheater. Also try kicking the breaker bar instead of just pulling steadily on it.
