• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Trailer hitch ball

Need to find a new ball for my Canam Hitch. Chrome is worn completely off, looks terrible. These balls have a bolt into the body, not a nut as on regular trailer balls. Any sources would be appreciated. Yes it has been lubricated, but it has over 65K. Thanks

I'd just buy a cover ($2.00) at an RV store. It dresses up the back end when not pulling a trailer. I leave a zip lock baggie in my trunk to put it in when I have my trailer.

I use a dab of grease when pulling trailer & have a cover over when not in use

So this is probably a stupid question but why does the hitch care whether the bolt goes into the ball or the ball has a stud that goes thru the hitch to a nut?:dontknow: ?

Whoa, back up a minute. You should not have clearance problems either way. Bolt up or bolt down. Who installed the hitch and where did you get it?
