• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Travel Cover for RT with rear rack ????

Last year, coming back from SpyderQuest, I found that I had more stuff with me on the way home than I brought up there. Not an uncommon thing for touring.
I put on the Show Chrome rack.
Now I find that my Nelson Rigg half cover doesn't fit well. It no longer covers the mirrors.
Does anyone know of a half cover large enough for the RT with a luggage rack ?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Not a half cover but a full one. Check with Value Accessories a sponsor here. They carry the UltraGuard covers. I have one and it goes over my Show Chrome Luggage rack

+ 1 on the UltraGuard covers - have both the full (used for winter) and the half (when traveling).

I went to an upholstery shop and had two panels sewn into both my covers. One panel on each side. Now my covers will fit over the show chrome trunk rack. Easy fix.

I have the ultragaurd half cover and it fits over a full rack with the tourbag on it.I will say its easier to fit if I remember to put the windshield down before shutting off.

Thanks.
My inner cheap bastich is telling me I can buy a yard of ripstop nylon for $3.95 and sew in an expansion piece myself.
The lazy a$$ in me is telling me to just go buy the Ultratech if it fits.

I haven't decided.
With my existing cover, at the end of the day, only the mirrors were exposed. The windscreen, dashboard and seat were still protected.
Not sure what I'll do.
Only my hairdresser knows for sure.

I know exactly what you're talking about. I waffled back and forth with the same decision. I even went to the canvas shop and bought water repellent material to do the job myself. Then my hairdresser said, "hey dumb a$$ just go and pay to have it fixed right and be done with it." So that's what I did.
