• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

u haul trailer and spyder

I know this might sound a little crazy. But I need to ride the spyder to Okla and then put in a u haul trailer and bring it home. Was looking at a 6x12 ramp trailer open top. Issue is the tailgate is only 57 in. Thought maybe angle the bike in 1 wheel at a time in front. Or pull the fenders and front tire an use a flat dolly to roll it on then put tires back on. This will be a down and back fast trip. Any Ideas any one done this before.

The smallest trailer UHaul had that would fit my Spyder was a tandem axle. This was because of the tailgate width. Still needed 3 ramps to get it in. I think it was a 7 by 12.

Double check the U Haul rental options. I don't think they will rent an open trailer one way, only local. You'll have to get an enclosed trailer. Smallest for the Spyder will be the 6 x 12.

i used a 6 x 12 uhaul box trailer to bring mine from south carolina to west Virginia. roll it up the boards at an angle, get one wheel in and skoot it over and roll it in the box. not hard to do.

U-Haul TRailer

Here is how to do it.

1. Rent a U-Haul with the prefix HO!!! It is 6 x 12 with a drop down tailgate
2. It can ONLY be rented "local." That means you have to pull it to Okla and back.
3. Use two car ramps, lower the tailgate to rest on the car ramps.
4. When the front wheels are in the trailer, move the ramps...leaving one for the rear wheel.

I do it all the time.

Good trailering.
