• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

 I think that I'm caught between the proverbial "Rock, and a Hard Place"... :yikes:
My top trunk seems to be stuck between dimensions: It won't open (The latch just never seems to move when you pull on the handle...), yet at the same time: I get a big Orange Screen telling me that the top trunk is unlatched...
How can I wiggle things around to get it open, and what do you think might have caused this.
FOR THE RECORD: I'm aware of the tab on the rear bodywork that has to engage the latch. When I had that panel off this past weekend; I did everything in my power to get those two parts together properly...
Yet something is obviously amiss. :dontknow:

Were I in your shoes and left to my own devices I'd remove the panel and reinstall it again. I doubt you can do anything to rectify the situation without trying that first.

:agree: Something is out of alignment on the rear panels, whether it's visible or not. Rinse and repeat on the panel assembly.

BUT BEFORE YOU DO THIS

Just loosen the LATCH ASSEMBLY, and then close it and see if it re-aligns itself .........Mike :bbq:

Oh no..!!

This may have become a two man job. Someone to hold the upper half and twist while pulling the release. Wiggle if you will side to side up and down to get it to the right alignment. If you get her open then do the rebuilt. At least I would start there...

At least it sounds fixable:thumbup: May be simple as a screw tightening pattern nojoke BRP does not expect us to actually do work that requires that much knowledge:roflblack::lecturef_smilie::p

Late thought .:gaah:. But you dont have a trunk light that may stay lit & kill your battery I hope, do you??:dontknow::dontknow::dontknow::thumbup:
