Urge for more RED in my life

Starting to think about moving up this summer. Have always lusted after the RED RT. Recently saw the ST (yellow) and like that also. I think I’m going to ride both before I decide. As a single guy, I don’t really need the back seat of the RT, but all those bells and whistles – plus, did I say, it’s RED.
(Though it doesn’t show, the new CX-5 is also RED)

Have you thought about taking an ST and having it painted to the color of your choice? If the pricing difference between the two bikes is great enough... :thumbup:

Sent an email to my dealer nand mentioned my urges. Call back from Salesman - got one in last week and he put my name on it. Going in Tuesday to see how little they'll give me on the trade. Oh well, you only go around once. It will be my 74th birthday present - whoops, already got that with the red CX-5. Guess this will be my 75th present - only 8+ months early.:yes:

I am also of the opinion that color is important now. Many times, I have purchased a car or a motorcycle and it was usually my second or third choice as far as color went. This always happens when I already had the "buy" button pushed.

Any more vehicles, and I am going to absolutely wait for the exact color I want. I lucked out on getting the exact color I preferred on my recent car purchase. If there is another :spyder2: in my life--that will also be the case. :roflblack:

Bought it!!!!!

OK, I did the deed today.
Got quite a few pictures of it in still in the box - so just imagine what a red RT looks like and that's my new ride. Tomorrow it gets assembled and the adjustable handlebars installed. So I should get it tomorrow afternoon or Thursday morning. Few other items on order but that's OK - I want ot see how the stock windshield and seat are before I go down that road for the comfort seat and vented windshield.
Heads up for anyone buying this month - the latest promotion of BRP reimbursing you for 2 payments - there is an alternative unadvertised promo - $500 manufacturers rebate right on the dealer invoice.
It still amazes me to see one of these things packed in the crate - what a job and what an imagination to create the packing the way they do. I am impressed.
Oh, and do I love that RED...............:yes::yes::yes::yes:

Oh yes! I love the red. Drove my 2013,(RREEDD) RTS SE home today. This is my second Spyder. Or should I say, my second red Spyder. 2010 RS Red and Black.

:congrats: on your new RED RT! I love mine. I was like that too. I only wanted a red RTS, and I wanted a used one at a really good price. I feel like it was a sign from God that I found just what I wanted in such short time.
