• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Valve cover gaskets

Just Doo Me

Just a heads up on the valve cover gaskets, recently while doing a oil change I noticed a pooling of oil in a engine cavity below the rear cylinder.I knew it was not airbox related from overfilling the oil and took it into the dealer. They ended up replacing the valve cover gaskets that I told them to check because the leak was high up on the motor. The valves were checked as well and were still in spec. at close to 30,000km on my 08.Brp picked up the tab as it was still within the warranty period. It was explained to me that the oil is under pressure in that area on the dry sump motor and a small leak will accumulate fairly quickly. Anyway just something to keep in mind if you see a oil leak or oil level dropping .
